On June 13, 2019 the representatives of the delegation headed by the rector of Kalmyk State University named after B.B.Gorodovikov B.Salayev visited Karakalpak State University.
First the guests were received by Rector of Karakalpak State University Akhmet Reymov.
Akhmed Reymov welcomed the guests with his visit to the University, expressed his satisfaction and briefly told about the history, structure and achievements of the University. He expressed his interest in cooperation with Kalmyk State University in many areas, such as the development of new research projects, the academic mobility of the faculty and students, cooperation in the field of ecotourism, exchange of pedagogical staff and doctoral candidates in scientific research and educational process.
Rector of Kalmuk State University Badma Salaev thanked Rector of Karakalpak State University Akhmet Reymov for warm welcome, noted that Kalmyk State University ranked the 83rd place in the rating among Russian higher educational institutions, has experienced professors and great experience in teaching natural sciences. In addition, they expressed their opinions and ideas on developing a roadmap for collaboration between the two universities, introducing a joint diploma program in the field of ecology and biology, conducting online conferences, organizing web sites, implementing joint projects on medicinal herbs and archeology, as well as organizing professional development courses.
At the end of the reception, representatives of the two higher educational institutions took pictures and presented memorable gifts and souvenirs.
In the second half of the day at the Faculty of Jurisprudence, there was held a meeting with the participation of the Kalmyk delegation and professors and teachers of the faculty. At the meeting, professors and lecturers were informed about the opportunities created for carrying out scientific research at Kalmyk State University, the structure and directions of Kalmyk State University, education in magistracy and doctoral studies.
