On purpose of implementing Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated to May 14, 2019 “On additional measures for improving the system of admission tests for higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 2019 – 2020 academic year” and Resolution of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated to June 12, 2019 № 523 and carrying out the enrollment of students at the University for the 2019 – 2020 academic year at a high level, the “Kabul-2019” Admission Committee of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh began its work.
In particular, the action plan has been developed on carrying out the enrollment of students at the University for the 2019 – 2010 academic year at a high level and approved by the experienced, honest and responsible professors – teachers and staff members. The orders were issued on confirming the responsible secretaries of Admission Committee and technical operators.
Information-consulting centers and call-centers were established under Admission Committee to create professional guidance for applicants and their parents (the power – point presentations on each faculty, the professional booklet brochures have been developed). The staff of the Call Center and the operators of communication centers were formed, and they provide petitioners with full and detailed information.
The admission quotas of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh were developed according to the languages and approved. It was also announced at the University website http://karsu.uz and in the press.
Admission Committee has been equipped with statistical data on the location of the service, updated professional-oriented promotional materials, tables of consultations, announcements, addresses of official telegrams of the higher educational institution and other necessary information.
Number of Bachelor’s degree directions (full – time): 47 in 2018 and 56 in 2019.
Correspondence courses (part – time): 10 in 2018, 13 in 2019.
Evening courses: 0 in 2018, and 5 in 2019.
Number of Master’s specialties: 24 in 2018, 32 in 2019.
Also, 8 new specialties at the bachelor’s degree and 10 new specialties at the magistracy were opened according to the confirmed quota for the 2019 – 2020 academic year.
