Well-intentioned, creative aspirations give beauty and become an expression of infinite love for Motherland. On the eve of the great and lovely holiday – Independence Day, on August 17-18, a nationwide charitable hashar (community work day) is held throughout the country.

From the early morning of August 17, the community of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh also began work on the improvement of the University, its buildings and installations.

434 University teachers, 238 technical workers and 703 students are involved in cleaning the surrounding area from wild grasses, pruning and whitewashing of trees, whitewashing walls, cleaning ditches and trenches, watering flowers.
