Trip to Ulan Bator

Recently, we participated in a meeting of coordinators, which was held in Mongolia in the city of Ulan Bator in the framework of the GREB project of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

The meeting was held at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Vice-Rector for Science and Cooperation Professor T. Namnan opened the meeting with an opening address and made a presentation about their University. Then, Senior Coordinator of the GREB Project of the Italian University L.Akuila Dr. Massimiliano Diniosenzo made a presentation. In his speech, he emphasized that Erasmus+ is becoming popular among Asian countries.

After that, Lyudmila Boronina from Astrakhan State University of Construction and Architecture, Anna Doroshenko from Moscow State Construction University, Olga Rodina from Ogarevsky University, Olga Poroshenko from Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering presented their reports to the audience.

In the second half of the day, the representatives of universities in Uzbekistan had their presentations. Among them were Bahadir Rakhmanov from Urgench University, Ilhomzhan Siddikov from Tashkent University of Information Technology and Bakhytbay Paluanov from Karakalpak State University, who told about the projects developed by students at their universities.

The Erasmus+ program of the European Union not only connects Asia with Europe, but is also important among Asian countries in the field of education.
