At KSU there has been held a seminar – training of “UZDOC 2.0” project

Currently, at our University, according to Presidential Decrees “On measures to further improvement of the higher educational system” under number 2909 dated to April 20, 2017 and “On additional measures to improvement of the quality of higher education and active participation in large-scale reforms in our country” under number 3775 dated to June 5, 2018, measures are being taken to strengthen educational, scientific and innovative ties with foreign countries.

A striking example of this is that Karakalpak State University has signed agreements and memorandums with 48 higher educational institutions and scientific institutes in 16 developed countries of the world, which in turn gives its positive results in the development of this field.

Based on these agreements, in the academic year 2018 – 2019 in the educational and scientific research process of our University, more than 50 foreign professors, teachers and scientists were involved in the educational process.

Currently, the University is implementing 7 projects of the European Union under the Erasmus + program.

As part of projects in the last academic year, about 40 professors and teachers of the University participated in seminars, trainings, training courses and conferences in Europe and other countries.

One of such projects is “UZDOC 2.0”: being a project to improve the quality of doctoral education in Uzbekistan, this project is involved in the reform of the system of training for doctors of higher education in Uzbekistan.

On September 12 of this year, at a meeting of the project Rector of the University Akhmed Reymov and the project coordinators made a speech and introduced the information about the project work.

In the afternoon, an official opening took place, which was held by the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs O. Duisenbaev.

Executive Secretary of the Zhokargi Kenges (the Supreme Council) of Republic of Karakalpakstan A. Tolybekov, B. Ayimbetov from the Council of Ministers, Academician N. Aimbetov, Director of the Nukus branch of TATU, project coordinator at the University B. Kaypbergenov spoke at the event.
