At present, large-scale events are being held in our country aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony and further developing cooperation with national cultural centers.

In our country, more than 130 representatives of different nationalities live and work as children of the same family, which indicates religious tolerance and interethnic harmony.

Today, in order to strengthen preventive measures among students, a meeting was held at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh entitled “Uzbekistan – Country of Interethnic Harmony and Religious Tolerance.”

The event was held by O.Duysenbayev, Vice-Rector for Spirituality and Enlightenment and Youth Work of the University.

Director of the Union of Writers of Karakalpakstan, People’s Poet of Karakalpakstan K.Karimov, Specialist for Religious Affairs of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan N.Zhamalov and others spoke at the event.

As the speakers noted, over the years of Independence in Uzbekistan, our multinational people worked and was united by one goal, one idea – for the prosperity of our country, and we are proud of the successes achieved in the development of our state.

The event dedicated to the promotion of the ideas of national independence, the rich cultural heritage of our people and traditions of spiritual and moral ethics, interethnic harmony and ideas of religious tolerance, kindness and strengthening personal qualities, explaining the content of the idea “Uzbekistan is Our Common Home!” among young people was held at a high spiritual level.
