As previously reported, on October 11-13, Tashkent hosted the world youth sambo championship. Gulsimay Begdullaeva, the 1 – year student of the Physical Culture Faculty of our University, took the third place in the 44 kg weight category, and Indira Elmuratova, the 1 – year student of the correspondence department of the Physical Culture Faculty, took the 2 place in the 64 kg weight category.

At the railway station of the city of Nukus, our sportsmen G.Begdullayeva and I.Elmuratova were met by the general public.

The ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, representatives of the University administration, close relatives, mentors and representatives of the general public.
