Recently, cardinal measures have been taken in our country to raise the educational system to a whole new level. Also, cooperation agreements have been signed with foreign universities.

Confirmation of this is the visit of professors of higher educational institutions of Russia and Latvia to the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh in order to exchange experiences and teach students.

On October 25 this year, a seminar was held at the Faculty of Construction of KSU with the participation of the head of the department “Geodesy, Cadastral Accounting” of the Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Russia, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Yu. Lezhnina, head of the department of Engineering System and Ecology, candidate of technical sciences, Associate Professor E. Derbasova and Associate Professor of the Department of Science, Environment and Sustainable Development, Doctor of Sciences of the University of Latvia J. Zaloksnis, as well as the faculty and students faculty.

At the seminar, the Latvian scientist J. Zaloksnis described in detail the University of Latvia to the teachers and students. At the same time, he noted about energy saving and the use of alternative energy in the world, and that there are all conditions for this in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, expressed views on the use of solar energy.

Also, representatives of the Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Russia Yu. Lezhnina and E. Derbasova spoke about the educational process in this university, which is established in accordance with the requirements of the time, noted the cooperation and exchange of experience with the teachers of the construction faculty of Karakalpak State University.

The organized seminar left a good impression on its participants.

Undoubtedly, such meetings are the result of fruitful cooperation with foreign educational institutions.
