On October 26, 2019 in the city of Nukus, a conference of the party organization of the Republic of Karakalpakstan of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan was held. The conference was attended by elected delegates from the city of Nukus and regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, professors and teachers of higher and secondary educational institutions, employees of environmental and health institutions, students and media representatives.

The following issues were considered on the agenda of the conference:

 – participation of members of the Ecological Party of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the elections of the Council of People’s Deputies of the Republic of Karakalpakstan;

– nominations and selection of delegates to the II Congress of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan;

– on granting authority to the Council of the party organization of the Republic of Karakalpakstan of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan to nominate candidates for the Council of People’s Deputies of the Zhokargi Kenges of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The conference was attended by Dean of Biology Faculty of KSU named after Berdakh, Doctor of Biological Sciences Ya.Ametov, Associate Professor, Ph.D. G.Turemuratova, Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences M.Allamuratov and A.Kidirbaev, as well as assistants of the Department of Ecology and Soil Science.

At the conference, 16 delegates were elected to the II Congress of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, which will be held in Tashkent on November 4 this year.

Conference participants expressed their views and suggestions on these issues.
