On February 18-20 this year, a delegation of the Moscow National Research Nuclear University MEPhI visited Karakalpak State University.

The guests, academic specialist at the Institute of Nanotechnology in Electronics, Spintronics and Photonics of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI Nikita Glukhov, Ph.D., docent Alexander Bakarenkov, were warmly welcomed by the University Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation I.Turdymambetov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Sh.Shaniyazov, Head of the Department of “Electric Power” K. Reimov.

At the meeting, representatives of the two universities exchanged views on the development and implementation of a joint educational program, an academic exchange program for teachers and students, and a working group was drawn up to prepare the necessary documents.

During a two-day visit, docent of the Institute of Nanotechnology in Electronics, Spintronics and Photonics of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI Alexander Bakarenkov conducted a 5 module lesson on the subject of Fundamentals of Semiconductor Electronics.

At the same time, the guests met with students from secondary school number 37 and the Progress educational center, during which they gave information about National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and the joint educational program.
