For the students of Karakalpak State University, there was organized the event on the topics “Education against illiteracy” and “Extremism and terrorism – threat to the future of our youth.”

The event was opened by the Acting Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of Karakalpak State University I.Jumaniyazov, who introduced the participants with the agenda.

In his speech, I.Jumaniyazov noted that ideological forces such as radicalism, terrorism and extremism, which are viciously fighting the intellectual and spiritual world of youth, are increasingly being strengthened in the world, and that one of the most urgent tasks facing our society is to be vigilant in the fight against these forces, especially in the education of youth, as well as the need for constant and effective organization of information and propaganda events for students.

Also at the event, the speeches were made by Specialist of the Karakalpak branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Education, member of the Society of Propaganda of Spirituality S.Ayapov, Head of the Investigative Department of the Coordination Managementof Internal Affairs of the city of Nukus S.Nuraddinov, teacher of Al-Beruniy Islamic University A.Idrisov, Senior Inspector of the Department for the Prevention of Offenses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Major K.Reyimkulova.

During the event, issues of education and morality of students were discussed.
