Today in Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh an online video conference “Actual environmental problems in construction and ways to solve them” was held.

Rector of the Karakalpak State University, Professor A.Reymov began the video conference with the opening speech “The Role of the Karakalpak State University in training personnel and solving urgent environmental problems in construction”. The conference was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering T.Uzakov.

In addition to professors from the faculty Civil Engineering of Karakalpak State University, professors from the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Urgench State University, Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the Nukus branch of Navoi State Mining Institute and senior scientists from the Karakalpak Republican Department of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan participated in the online video conference.

The online video conference continued with reports on the use of energy-efficient materials and structures in construction, the problems of designing buildings and structures, the development of urban infrastructure, innovative teaching methods and environmental literacy.
