On November 7, 2019, at the Palace of Culture of Karakalpak State University the Kenges of the Republic of Karakalpakstan held a pre-election meeting of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic “Elections and Youth”.

 The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of our University O.Duysenbayev.

Initially, the deputy from the party, Murod Kurbanov had a speech. In his speech, he noted that the five political parties operating in the country have their own election programs, and the program of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Party has been improved at a high level.

The next word was given by Khojab Kabulov, a leading party expert. In his speech, he said: “We need to increase the political awareness of youth. Then the upcoming election processes will be held at a high level”.

It was also noted that the “Electoral Code” adopted on June 25, 2019 will serve to improve the conduct of the electoral process.

After this, Inzhayim Seytnazarova, Chairman of the women’s organization of the University, an active member of the “Milliy Tiklanish” party had a speech. In her speech, she noted the importance of women’s participation in the elections, and that this year 65 percent of voters are young people.

At the end of the event, a number of young people were accepted into the party. The guests were presented with a concert program performed by students.
