In order to fulfill the tasks outlined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for further expansion of the participation of industries and sectors of the economy in improving the quality of training specialists with higher education” dated July 27, 2017, a meeting of teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics with representatives of enterprises was held at the University’s Palace of Culture.

The event was opened and hosted by the rector of the university, Professor A. Reymov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Tax Administration of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the State Tax Inspectorate of the city of Nukus, the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the international innovation center for the Aral Sea Basin under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the Karakalpak Republican Department of Tourism Development and several other organizations of organizations.

During the meeting, students expressed their opinions and initiatives, like internships, securing volunteers for employers, organization of clubs in enterprises.
