On August 4, 2020, the first online meeting of the Scientific Seminar was held at the Scientific Council PhD.03/30.12.2019.B.20.04 for the awarding of academic degrees at Karakalpak State University.

The Scientific Seminar was attended by Rector of Karakalpak State University Professor Akhmed Reymov and Chairman of the Scientific Council Professor Murat Jumanov. They wished success in the work of the Scientific Seminar.

At the meeting of the seminar, two issues were discussed. 1. The dissertation work of the senior teacher of General Biology and Physiology Department Koshanov Dauletbaн Erejepovich on the topic: “Feeding of juvenile fish in the lower reaches of the Amu Darya River”, specialty 03.00.06 – Zoology, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in biological sciences. 2. The dissertation work of the basic doctoral student of the III course of General Biology and Physiology Department Begjanov Muratbay Kuralbaevich on the topic: “Fauna and ecology of orthoptera insects (Insecta: Orthoptera) of the Fergana Valley” in the specialty 03.00.06 – Zoology, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in biological sciences.

 As a result of the Scientific Seminar, it was approved that the prepared dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in biological sciences in the specialty Zoology meet the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission and were recommended for defense in the Scientific Council PhD.03/30.12.2019.B.20.04 for awarding of academic degrees at Karakalpak State University.
