In pursuance of paragraph 18 of the Decree No.PF-5953 “In the Year of Development of Science, Enlightenment and Digital Economy”, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Education, Health, Culture, Youth, Spirituality and Public Organizations, Neighborhood and Family on the basis of the Order No.07/1-609 of October 19, 2020 starting from the 2020-2021 academic year, students of higher educational institutions of the republic were given the opportunity to pay the contract fees in equal shares at least four times during the academic year.
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education provides payment terms for students studying in higher education institutions on a fee-basis from the 2020-2021 academic year:
– at least 25 percent of the prescribed fee for applicants recommended for students until September 15 or until the deadline set by the State Commission, and for students of the second and subsequent stages until October 1 or extended by the rector of the higher education institution;
– at least 50% of the established amount of payment until January 1, 75% until April 1 and 100% until July 1 or extended by the rector of the higher education institution;
– for foreigners up to the deadlines set by the rector of the higher education institution;
– the terms and amounts of payments for the first half of the academic year to applicants recommended to students on the basis of a differentiated fee-contract are specified by the State Commission and the rest by the rector of the higher education institution.
Note: In the statement No.5 dated to September 25, 2020 of the meeting of the State Commission on admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan for applicants recommended for students for the 2020-2021 academic year:
1) the deadline for registration of admission to the ranks of students and transfer of tuition fees for applicants recommended for students on the basis of a contract for payment for a bachelor’s degree in higher education institutions in the 2020-2021 academic year is November 1, 2020 ;
2) differentiated (super-contract) payment-contract amounts to be paid at least 50% for the first half of the academic year no later than December 1, 2020 and for the second half no later than March 1, 2021.
Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh announces that the deadline for applications for study on the basis of an increased (differentiated, super-contract) fee-contract is October 25, 2020 (and also on the same day).
