The visit of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdukadir Tashkulov to Karakalpakstan continues

   Today, in the afternoon of May 24, at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh the Minister met with the heads of all the higher educational institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

   At the meeting, A.Tashkulov noted that the activities of higher educational institutions in Karakalpakstan are effective, good results have been achieved in many areas, and expressed confidence that the rectors and directors of branches will achieve greater results.

   During the sincere, open dialogue, the sides exchanged views on reforms in the higher educational system, in particular, the work aimed at preventing and combating corruption in the system, as well as the gradual transformation of branches in the country into separate higher educational institutions.

   The Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Abdukadir Tashkulov proposed to establish a council of heads of higher educational institutions in Karakalpakstan and expressed confidence that they will perform their duties wholeheartedly.

   The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan M.Jumanov.
