In order to raise awareness during the admission period for the 2021/2022 academic year, a meeting was held among university leaders and professors-teachers on the topic “The negative impact of corruption on the quality of education.”
The meeting was opened by Rector of the University Akhmed Reymov.
Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Rakhimjon Khakimov took part in the meeting on the topic “The negative impact of corruption on the quality of education” and noted the strict responsibility to prevent corruption in the higher education system during the admission period for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Then Rustem Jarilkaganov, Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and an employee of the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Lieutenant Colonel Farkhad Tajetdinov spoke at the meeting.
In particular, among all the developed countries of the world, our country pays great attention to the fight against corruption.
“According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated to July 6 of this year “On the creation of an anti-corruption center, a sharp decrease in corruption in state and social management and a wide expansion of public participation in it”, anti-corruption measures taken in our country have reached a new level, and each of us must take responsibility for this”, said the speakers at the meeting.
