The delegation of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh paid a working visit to the Research Institute of the World of Turkic Peoples at Ege University. Due to the fact that this Institute is a research center, masters and PhD students get knowledge there. The Institute conducts research work in the field of philology, linguistics, folklore, literature, political science, history and ethnography of the Turkic peoples. Most importantly that Karakalpak Literature and Folklore are studied at the Institute by well-known scholars.
During the meeting, Rector of Karakalpak State University, Professor Akhmed Reymov, and Director of the Institute of the World of Turkic Peoples, Professor Nadim Majit, discussed issues of cooperation. Teachers of the faculties of Karakalpak Philology and Journalism, Uzbek Philology, History Faculty of our university have the opportunity to exchange experience and conduct research work at this institute. Opportunities were noted for the continuation of research work in cooperation with the Institute of Turkic Peoples, as well as undergraduate and doctoral students studying in the above-mentioned fields.
