The Uzbek-Turkish Forum of higher educational institutions has been held

     On June 9-10 this year, the Uzbek-Turkish Forum of higher educational institutions was held in the city of Izmir (Turkey). The forum was attended by a delegation consisting of rectors, vice-rectors of more than 20 higher educational institutions that train personnel in the field of technical and engineering education, as well as representatives of ministries. The members of the delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan which took part in the Uzbek-Turkish forum of higher educational institutions were headed by Rector of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Akhmed Reymov.

     Within the framework of the forum, memorandums on international cooperation were signed between a number of Turkish universities and Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh.

‑ Rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Turkey Adem Korkmaz and Rector of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Akhmed Reymov signed an agreement on international cooperation between the two universities. 

‑ Rector of Usak University of Turkey Professor Ekrem Savas and Rector of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Professor Akhmed Reymov signed an agreement on international cooperation between the two universities on the “Mevlana” project. The agreement provides for the exchange of experience of teachers, as well as the study of students in accordance with the specialties.

‑ Rector of Sakarya University of Turkey Fatih Savasan and Rector of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Akhmed Reymov signed a memorandum on international cooperation between the two universities.

     – The purpose of this memorandum is to establish cooperation between the two universities, as well as exchange of experience of teachers and university staff in the humanities, social and natural sciences. In addition, the goal is to organize advanced training courses for teaching staff, as well as scientific meetings and symposiums in the future. 

     The forum also discussed issues of improving cooperation between Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Olym Duysenbaev and the College of Ege University of Turkey and the organization of joint education.

     Along with this, Vice-Rector Olym Duysenbaev visited the Faculty of Journalism of Ege University and got acquainted with the work carried out there.
