The Department of “Pedagogy and Psychology” conducts scientific work on the basis of the adopted orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Oliy Majlis, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized  Education, as well as on the orders of the university rector and scientific council on the improvement and development of work in higher educational institutions.

The department called “pedagogy and social subjects” was established in 1935 during the opening of the pedagogical institute. One of the first heads of the department was Ya.M.Dosumov, then there was an associate professor N.D Shchepkin,  professor Zh.A.Orynbaev, an associate professor R.G. Timasheva and an associate professor A. Bekbasov.

In 1976  Karakalpak State University became Karakalpak State University and was reorganized; in 1976–1979, 1984–1990, the head of the department was Professor Kutmambet Kosnazarov, in 1979–1984 associate professor Berdimurat Sultamuratov, in 1991–1994 associate professor Tursynbay Aytanov, in 1994– 1997 Associate Professor Ismail Allaniyazov.

In those years, graduate students were sent to cities such as Tashkent and Moscow, and the scientific potential of the department was at a high level. As a result, Tursynbay Aytanov became candidates of pedagogical sciences in 1991, Ismail Allaniyazov in 1993, and Iskender Pyrniyazov in 1994. In those years, in the development of the department contributed their overwork such teachers as Gaybulla Abipov, Dauletbiyke Kalillaeva Maria Dovgopol, Iskender Pirniyazov, Natalia V. Pirniyazova, Tursynbai Aytanov Ismail Allaniyazov, Parakhat Abdimuratov Lisa Bekniyazova, Ainash Hozhahmetova, Gulayym Tureeva, Zakir Abdigapbarov , Kuat Bekbauliyev, Makset Paluaniyazov, Zukhra Naimova and others.

From 1997 to 2011, the department was headed by a doctor of pedagogical sciences, an honored scientist of the Karakalpak Republic, a professor  Userbay Aleuov. Under the leadership of the head of the department Userbay Aleuov, who in 2001 was awarded such titles as “Scientist of the XXI century”, in 2006 “Academician of the International Academy of Sciences” worked ten candidates of sciences, including three teachers P. Abdimuratov, K. Seytmuratov, A. Bekimbetova  who were awarded scientific degrees of candidates of pedagogical sciences. In 2003, the lecturer of the department L. Bekniyazova defended a scientific thesis and became a candidate of psychological sciences, thereby raising the scientific level of the department even more.

The research works on the history of pedagogical thoughts and school studies of Karakalpakstan were published by the teachers of the department N.V.Pirniyazova, P.Abdimuratov, T.Utebaev, A.Bekimbetova, Z.Maturazova, B.Razhapbaev, M.Aytymbetov, K.Kutlymuratov , G.Orazbayeva, S.Alauatdinov, Sh.Allanazarova, G.Kalknazarova, N.Sagyndykova and Y. Purkhanov about 40 books and more than 350 scientific articles. Also, these teachers introduce the pedagogy of Karakalpakstan in their scientific presentations at international conferences and symposia.

Since January 2012, the department was headed by Ph.D., associate professor P.Abdimuratov, and from March 2017 to the present day, the department is headed by Ph.D., associate professor T.Saparov. Every year, the department’s work is replenished with new scientific achievements and graduate masters. The teachers of the department are T. Saparov, N.V.Pirniyazova, P.Abdimuratov, A.Bekimbetova, Z.Maturazova, Sh.Allanazarova, G.Orazbaeva, K.Kutlymuratov, K.Tursynbekova, Z.Asamamatdinova, S.Alauatdinov, Y. Purkhanov, G.Aldzhanova, G.Kalknazarova, N.Sagyndykova, L.Bektursynova, B.Temirbekov, J.Abdimuratov, K.Turdambetova invest their works on the development of scientific and scientific-pedagogical works on the basis of the “Law on Education” and “The National training programs. The department conducts joint work and establishes close ties with higher educational institutions. Over the years, as a result of the contracts, joint work was carried out with the State University of Uzbekistan, the Nizami Tashkent Pedagogical University, the Kary Niyaziy UzPII, the Urgenic State University, the Azhiniyaz Pedagogical Institute and the J.Orynbayev Research Institute.

Currently, the department “Pedagogy and Psychology” employs 5 candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors, 4 senior teachers and 9 assistants, a total of 18 professors – teachers. In 2017 Sagindikova N, in 2018,Aytymbetov M and Asamadinova Jamila received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy. In particular, professors and teachers of the department took part in the best pedagogical competitions held in the Republic, in 2017 Sagindikova Nargiza and in  2018 Bektursynova Lola became the absolute winners of the republican stage of the contest “Best Teacher”. In 2018 N.Pirnyazova and A. Bekimbetova became laureates of the first republican contest “Top 100 Innovative Projects of Uzbekistan Women”, organized by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan. 3 teachers of the department – Aldzhanova. D, Daniyarova .Z and Temirbekov.B conduct research work in the leading research centers of our country.

Saparov Turdibay Tolibayevich, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor. He was born on April 3, 1962 in Kegeyli district. He graduated from Samarkand Medical Institute in 1987. In 2012, she received her PhD degree. More than 62 scientific articles, 1 monograph, 5 manuals. Nowadays he is the head of the department of pedagogy and psychology.

 

 

 

 

 

Abdimuratov Paraxat Seytmuratovich, candidate of pedagogical sciences, docent. He was born on May 5, 1956 in Kegeyli district. In 1978 he graduated from Nukus State University. He published more than 60 scientific papers and theses, as well as 2 manuals, 5 educational-methodical manuals. At present she works as an assistant professor of “Pedagogy and psychology” department. Abdimuratov Paraxat Seytmuratovich, candidate of pedagogical sciences, docent. He was born on May 5, 1956 in Kegeyli district. In 1978 he graduated from Nukus State University. He published more than 60 scientific papers and theses, as well as 2 manuals, 5 educational-methodical manuals. At present she works as an assistant professor of “Pedagogy and psychology” department.

 

 

Asamatdinova Jamila Pahratdinovna pedagogical science doctor of philosophy PhD. Was born on October 24, 1978 in Karaozyak district. In 2011 graduated from the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute. In 2019, she received a PhD degree in Ph.D. in pedagogical sciences. He published more than 40 scientific articles and theses, 2 monograph, 4 educational and methodical manuals. Since 2012, he has been working as an assistant professor.

 

 

 

 

 

Bekimbetova Aynagul Amangeldievna, candidate of pedagogical sciences, docent. Was born on September 17, 1977 in Nukus city. In 1998 he graduated from Nukus State Pedagogical Institute. He published more than 50 scientific articles and theses, and published 10 educational and methodical manuals. Since 1999 he has been working at the department as an assistant and since 2012 as a docent of the department.

 

 

 

Sagindikova Nargiza Jubatkanovna Psychological science doctor of philosophy PhD. Was born on March 5, 1987 in Nukus city. In 2010 graduated Pedagogical University of Tashkent State. In 2017 received a PhD degree of Psychological Science. She published more than 50 scientific articles and theses, 1 monograph, 4 educational and methodical manuals. Since 2015, the assistant at the department of “Pedagogical and psychology”. From 2018 she works as an assistant professor.
