The primary organisation of women’s committee of the Kar akalpak  university was reorganised in August, 2011 according to the Law « On  activity of the primary organisation of women’s committee» of the Republics Uzbekistan, approved by theXXXIX resolution of  Presidium of committee of women of Republic Uzbekistan  from 16-July, 2011.

At the primary organization are op erating such  clubs as «Иқтидорли қизлар» («talented girls»), a circle «Ораста қизлар» («Tidy girls»), the medical centre «Ибн Сино», the centres «Шаңара қ» (“Family”), “Psychology”. The primary organizations of women conduct the activity at 9 faculties.

The primary organisation select  members of the head and a deputy head working on public principles. The primary organisation conducts the work on public principles, i.e. is gratuitous or, proceeding from internal possibilities of establishment or an educational institution or the interested relation of the head of the organisation to problems of women, the salary can be defined. The primary organisation conducts the work on the basis of the law of committee of women of Republic Uzbekistan.

Problems and duties of the primary organisation of committee of women:

1. To raise activity and a role of women in a society in the decision of political, economic, social problems. Comprehensive support of women, improvement of problems of social and economic conditions of their life, protection of their rights and interests, strengthening of the family relation. To bring up rising generation in the spirit of patriotism and fidelity to theMotherland. To promote formation of a healthy way of life Among youth

2. The basic directions of activity of the primary organisation of women.

• Increase of activity of women in a society, in political, economic, social and labour activity, protection of their rights and interests;
• Carrying out of spiritually – educational work among women, the organisation of meetings, seminars, conferences, the girls directed on education in the spirit of national, common cultural tradition and values;
• Increase of intellectual and professional experience, legal knowledge and culture of women;
• the Organization and expansion of activity of a circle «Иқтидорли қизлар» («Talented girls»), promotion of capable and talented girls on the state award «zulfia»;
• Formation in a family of a healthy way of life, protection against bad habits, improvement of reproductive health of women, motherhood and childhood  care, increase of interest of women to culture and sports, maintenance of high-grade rest of women;
• Improvement of socially-spiritual atmosphere among women, the prevention of distribution among women of religious extremism and missionary ideas, propagation among women of national, religious values and tradition;
• the Prevention of distribution among women of such negative phenomena, as an offence, criminality, drunkenness, a suicide which are alien to mentality and a way of life of our people;
• Rendering assistance to  the  lonely, low-income, requiring social protection, with the disabled  women.
