Department of Mathematical Analysis
In 1969, the Department of Mathematical Analysis was founded on the basis of the Department of Mathematics.
Associate professor U. Buleshev, professor Zh. Kutlymuratov, associate professors O. Zhiemuratov, K. Kalzhanov, U. Rametov, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor S. Kosbergenov, teachers O. Sadykov, M. Yakubova, associate professors Zh. Myrzanov, F.N. Zhapakova, A. Omarov, O. D. Nurzhanov, S. Dauenov, Z. Saparov, B. Prenov, M. Askarov, S. Tanirbergenov, K. Yelgondiev, U. Kurbanbaev, M. Ibragimov, K. Kudaibergenov, A. Dauzhanov, M. Tanirbergenov, B. Kurbanov, B. Otemuratov, S. Tleumuratov, J. Otarova made an unbearable contribution to the development and increase of the scientific potential of the department that meets the requirements of the time.
During the years associate professors O. Zhiemuratov (1969-1976), O. Buleshev (1976-1987), K. Kalzhanov (1987-1992), S. Kosbergenov (1992-1994) and (2000-2004), B. Prenov (1995-1996), U. Rametov (1997-2000), M. Ibragimov (2004-2005), K. Elgondiev (2005-2009), B. Otemuratov (2009-2011), S. Tleumuratov (2011- 2016), K. Elgondiev (2016-2019) run the department. From June of 2019 associate professor B. Kurbanov has been the head of the chair.
Currently, the department has 12 teachers. Of these, 4 are associate professors and candidates of sciences. The department pays great attention to the issue of training scientific and pedagogical personnel. Associate Professor B. Otemuratov has repeatedly been on a scientific trip at the Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Federal University, as well as in 2014 in the USA. And also in 2019, associate professor B. Nurzhanov was on a scientific internship at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Academicians A. Sadullaev, A. Ayupov, professors G. Khudoybergenov and A. Vorisov became “Honorary Professors” of Karakalpak State University for their great contribution to the development of the department for the training of scientific personnel. The department has close scientific relations with the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Institute of Mathematics named after V.I. Romanovsky, Al-Khwarizmi Urgench State University, Novosibirsk State University, Omsk State University, Krasnoyarsk State University, and the National Mathematics Institute Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
