Currently, a number of works are underway to further develop physical education and sports in all regions of our country, to attract physical education and sports to all segments of the population, especially young people, as well as to increase the efficiency of the productive use of the created conditions in this direction.

In this regard, we can cite the achievements of young athletes of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh.

A vivid example of this is the victory of the student of the Faculty of Physical Culture, the world champion in sambo Darmenbaeva Klara, the champion of Asia in judo Muratbaeva Gulnur, the champion of Asia in freestyle wrestling Baltaniyazova Bakhtigul, the winner of the championship in freestyle wrestling Keulimzhaeva Aktenge, the winner of the championship in Greco-Roman wrestling Tirkashev Turabek, the Asian champion in hand-to-hand fighting, winner of international tournaments, winner of the Zulfiya Prize Kaypnazarova Sapura.

Also, 48 champions of Uzbekistan, more than 70 champions of Karakalpakstan are currently studying at this faculty.

Among them, we can mention a 1 – year student of the Faculty of Physical Education Gulsimay Begdullayeva, who won the 3rd place in the weight category up to 44 kg at the world sambo championship among girls which was held on October 11 – 13, 2019 in Tashkent.

We want to congratulate the winner of the world championship Gulsimay Begdullayeva on the success of the competition and wish her to continue to raise the flag of our country at the competitions.
