The book is a priceless treasure that enriches the spiritual world of man. It develops the ability to think broadly, and brings up good qualities.

At present, in our country, large-scale measures are being taken to develop book love among young people.

Recently, at the Palace of Culture of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, the gifted youth of “Book Lovers Club” has organized a literary evening dedicated to the third anniversary of the foundation of the club.

The evening was opened by Director of the Information Resource Center N.Sharigatova who congratulated all the participants on this day.

The event was attended by a number of guests, including: pupils of the “Children’s House” of the Khojeli district, cadets of the North-Western military district, Head of the department of the Information and Library Center of Karakalpakstan J.Tileubaeva, students of the specialized school named after Ibragim Yusupov, comprehensive school No.33, as well as students.

This was followed by a festive evening prepared by the members of “Book Lovers Club”.

At the end of the literary evening, a number of organizations, institutions, teachers and active youth were awarded with diplomas and memorable souvenirs.

The literary evening dedicated to book love made a huge impression on participants of the event.
