It is worth noting that large-scale reforms and activities aimed at supporting the future of our people, determining the future, talents, potential, opportunities and efforts in various spheres of our society.

As a result of the implemented work, given opportunities, our young people are gaining significant achievements in the world today.

On July 5 of this year, at the Palace of Culture of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, there was held the opening ceremony of «The Regional Youth Conference».

The conference started with the anthem of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan.

The delegates from all the regions of our country, representatives of the regional councils of the Youth Council of Uzbekistan of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz, the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan «Milliy Tiklanish», the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the «Adolat» Social – Democratic Party and the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan participated at the conference.

Vice – Rector for Youth Affairs of Karakalpak State University O. Duysenbayev opened the event.

At the event the youngest deputy of our country Shokhrukh Uktamov, Chairman of the Council of Karakalpakstan of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, Deputy of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan A.Begimova, student of Namangan State University N.Rakhimbayev and others made their presentations in which they mentioned about broad opportunities of discussions, social platforms, and other means, expressed their needs, interests and aspirations.

At the conference, the main directions of the state youth policy were the issues of ensuring the rights, freedom and legitimate interests of young people, protecting life and health of the young generation, promoting their spiritual, intellectual, physical and ethical development, ensuring open and quality education for young people, creating conditions for their employment, raising the level of legal awareness and legal culture of young people, supporting and promoting talented youth, creation of conditions for the development of youth business, providing spiritual and material support to young families, creation of decent housing and social conditions for them. The delegates exchanged views on the themes “Youth of tomorrow – perspective of creating future”, “The national youth policy is our future”.

The current conference will continue till July 7 and will cover various activities for young people.
