At the 20 th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (according to the plan) President of the Republic of Uzbekistan charged the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan to ensure that the activities of the Women’s Committees are to be simple, simplified and universal, a series of practical events are being held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to increase life levels of women.

One such kind of events was held at Berdakh Karakalpak State University today.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Women’s Committee E.Bositkhonova, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Chairman of Karakalpakstan Women’s Committee Z.Ibragimova, Rector of Karakalpak State University Akhmet Reymov and others, who mentioned in their reports about enhancing social activity of women, creating the conditions for their ability and capabilities in various sectors and industries, ensuring strict compliance with their rights and legitimate interests, comprehensive support of motherhood and childhood, as well as carrying out a wide range of works to strengthen the family institute.

The event was attended by heads of all city and regional women’s organizations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, winners of Zulfiya State Prize and active girls from all the educational institutions on the 5th directions of the five initiatives included recommendations for women’s employment, holding face-to-face talks with winners of the Zulfiya State Prize in the regions, encouraging them to participate in public and political activities, strengthening their responsibility, as well as attracting to the club “Qizlarjon” the winners of the contest, the nominees for the award, women with disabilities, needing help and establishment of friendly relations between them.
