Today, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan organized a meeting with the students of Law Faculty at Karakalpak State University on the theme “Minister of Justice and Youth.”

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan A.Atajanov and executive officials of the Ministry who provided students with detailed information on the state youth policy and judicial and legal reforms, as well as booklets and flyers were distributed.

The executive officials of the Ministry of Justice also gave detailed information on the main tasks of the Ministry of Justice, its activities and reforms in the justice system.

In particular, the work in law enforcement practice in the socio-economic field has attracted a great deal of interest from teachers and students. There was an exchange of views on the practical application of the adopted legislation and its problems.

There were also given juridical explanations on reforms in the notary sector, i.e. the gradual reorganization of public notary offices from January 1, 2020, and new notary actions.

The meeting was held in the form of an open dialogue with the students with their questions and suggestions, and agreed to create volunteer advocacy groups among students to further improve the legal awareness and legal culture of the population.
