Students of Karakalpak State University of the Faculty of Foreign Languages have taken part in the XII International Scientific and Practical Seminar for Young Korean Studies Students

Every December, a scientific and practical seminar is held at the Kazan Federal University in order to support young Korean historians. And the students of Karakalpak State University, together with the assistant teacher I. Khoshmuratova didn’t miss such a chance by taking part in the XII scientific-practical seminar for young Korean historians. This seminar was held on December 17, where the students of the Russian Language and Literature Department A. Temirbaeva and Abdikarimova S, the student of the English Language and Literature Department Keulimjaeva G. and the graduate student Ibragimova N. made a presentation. At the end of the seminar, students were awarded an honorary certificate and various New Year’s gifts, dinner was held where Tatar national cuisine was tasted.

The next day, they visited the sights of Kazan. This Kazan Kremlin is the most popular place among tourists and one of the main symbols of the city. On the first day of their stay in Kazan, the weather was not quite sunny, but it did not prevent them from taking a walk around the Kremlin and admiring its beauties. They also admired the main Kul-Sharif mosque, the falling Suyumbike tower, walked along Bauman Street, which is also a landmark of Kazan – there are many ancient buildings, structures and monuments. Everyone was amazed at the beauty of Kazan, one of the most beautiful cities in Russia with its national color, which everyone liked.

On the way back, students together with I. Khoshmuratova visited Volgograd, which is called a hero city, or a museum city. During the Second World War, the Battle of Stalingrad took place on the Mamaev Kurgan, the deadliest battle in history, where one and a half million people died. Now at this place is a memorial complex, which was visited by our students.

Everyone was happy with the trip to Russia and returned to their homeland with good impressions.
