The seminar was held for the English language teachers of the Kegeyli region by the Agency for the Promotion of the Study of Foreign Languages.

The members of the Agency for the Promotion of the Study of Foreign Languages under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the teacher of Karakalpak State University of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Department of the English Language and Literature Sratdinova G.B. held a training seminar for teachers of a foreign language of secondary schools in the Kegeyli region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The main goal of the seminar is to prepare for obtaining a national and international certificate of knowledge of a foreign language from teachers of the Kegeyli region. The seminar is aimed at familiarizing with modern trends in teaching foreign languages and with modern requirements for teaching foreign languages, as well as obtaining a national and international certificate of knowledge of a foreign language by teachers of English. The meeting was held in an interactive mode using practical assignments and group discussions. The discussed questions were illustrated with practical educational tasks. All participants were provided with a set of handouts on the topic of the seminar. The materials have been developed with the overall goal of motivating teachers to have a lively and ongoing interest in the English language and how it functions; help develop their self-study skills and self-assessment skills.
