There has been held a festive event under the motto “May the world be filled with light with you, Navruz!”

On March 27 of this year, at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, there was held a festive event under the motto “May the world be filled with light with you, Navruz!”. It was attended by Chairman of the Committee of the Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan T.Romanov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan B.Otemuratov, the representatives of national centers, professors-teachers of the University, students and a group of guests. At first, the event was opened by Rector of the University A.Reymov who warmly congratulated the gathered on the national holiday of Navruz, the day of renewal and life, creativity and creation that has entered our country.

In his speech, he emphasized that the Navruz holiday is always awaited with impatience and celebrated with great joy; for us it is a unique example of the eternity of life, the endless generosity of nature, our national traditions and values. Also, as our respected President noted, “One of the most important issues is increasing the scientific potential in higher educational institutions, expanding the scope of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel,” he proudly spoke about the achievements of our university during these holidays.

At the event, T.Romanov, Chairman of the Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, made a speech and warmly congratulated the participants on the holiday. After that, on the festively decorated stage there were played songs, and the stage performances corresponding to our traditions and values were brought to the attention of the gathered. During the festive event, the guests met with young people around the tables decorated with national dishes prepared by the university faculties, they gathered around the kazan, they mixed sumalak with good intentions and wished peace and harmony to our people on the great holiday of Navruz.
In fact, the University community, especially the students, celebrate the national holiday Navruz with a strong harmony like the children of one family. During the event there were held various contests and sports competitions, the talented young people performed songs and dances glorifying national traditions, values, interethnic harmony and gave the audience a festive mood.
