As part of the implementation of the tasks of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan outlined in the “Program of additional measures on the implementation of state youth policy in the system of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019” dated to January 15, 2019, awarding of winners of the Republican student contest “Student of the Year 2019” is planned.

This year, a feature of the award ceremony is that the ceremony will be held on February 23-24 in the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Today, all the winners of the competition came to Nukus and visited the sights of the city. Also, students from 17 universities of the country visited the world famous State Art Museum of Karakalpakstan named after I.Savitsky.
